Greg Genung

Snowfire AI is led by CEO and Founder Greg Genung, who drives the company’s mission to transform the $600 billion AI-Data Analytics industry through pioneering AI Signals and Decision Intelligence technology. With more than 20 years of leadership in cybersecurity, AI, machine learning, data warehousing, and business intelligence, Genung brings a wealth of expertise and a bold vision to the helm. His career includes managing complex enterprise environments, such as processing 100TB of customer data daily at Deepwatch, overseeing security for over 300,000 customers at Rackspace, and aggregating deep and dark web threat intelligence at Intel471 (later acquired by Thoma Bravo) to protect Europe’s largest banks. Genung also played a foundational role as the first employee of the Retail and Hospitality Information Sharing and Analysis Center (RH-ISAC), established following the Target breach to unify industry-wide cybersecurity collaboration. A co-inventor of a patent in global cybersecurity operations (SecOps), Genung was named one of the top 10 product software leaders in 2020. His education from MIT, Wharton, and Trinity University underpins his technical and strategic leadership. Under Genung’s guidance, Snowfire AI is poised to empower businesses by unlocking the full potential of their data, defining a new standard for AI-driven intelligence for businesses, boardrooms, and executives.

Kris Davis

Product & Design

Snowfire AI’s Head of Product and Design, Kris Davis, brings more than 20 years of expertise in product and design leadership to the company. Holding a master’s degree in product design from Northwestern University, Davis blends strategic insight and technical proficiency honed at Kellogg, McCormick, and Segal School of Business. His career includes senior roles at Deloitte Digital, Slalom Consulting, and Deepwatch, where he launched the managed detection and response Security Center platform and developed machine learning-powered security products. Additionally, at Catalyst Engine, Davis successfully transformed AI concepts into market-ready solutions. At Snowfire AI, Davis leads the day to day user-centric AI design experience and the complex AI-focused product development of the enterprise executive platform. Davis also supports customers and partners in their deployments of the Snowfire AI Signals and Decision Intelligence platform, integrating feedback loops that influence continuous improvement of the platform for Snowfire customers, including work on the patent-pending Adaptive Decision Intelligence framework, driving the company’s mission to redefine the $575 billion AI-Data Analytics industry. His leadership ensures that Snowfire AI delivers innovative, precision decision intelligence to empower businesses worldwide.

Steven Van Wasshenova

Engineering & Security

Steven C. Van Wasshenova serves as the Head of Engineering at Snowfire AI, contributing over 20 years of specialized engineering excellence and experience in enterprise software development, enterprise-grade cloud architectures, and cloud security engineering. Prior to joining Snowfire AI, he held the role of Senior Director of Solutions Engineering at Deepwatch, where he spearheaded the security operations platform development, scaled automation, and managed large-scale security initiatives for enterprise clients. Van Wasshenova earned a Master’s in Information and Communications Technology from the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s in Computer Networks and Systems from Ferris State University. Van Wasshenova brings deep expertise in AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise grade data security platform strategies. As a co-inventor of a patented security operations maturity assessment (with Genung), Van Wasshenova brings a proven track record of innovation to Snowfire AI. In his current role, he drives the engineering orchestration behind the company’s platform, including the patent-pending Adaptive AI Decision Intelligence systems and methods. His leadership ensures that Snowfire AI delivers robust, scalable, and cutting-edge solutions, advancing the company’s mission to transform AI decision intelligence industry.
